Deus é o nosso refúgio nos momentos de grande aflição
Deus é nossa fortaleza quando surge a grande provação
Deus é o socorro da alma, na angústia, na morte, na dor
Deus está em nosso meio pra nos dar livramento e favor!
Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós?
Se Deus é por nós a vitória por certo virá!
Se Deus é por nós o inimigo não vai triunfar!
Se Deus é por nós um milagre Ele vai operar!
Quando me assalta os temores no meu Deus só confiarei
Ele é tal qual rocha firme, sobre a qual eu não me abalarei
Se a provação é tamanha que parece com a nau sossobrar
Ele vem manso e suave caminhando por cima do mar!
Quando a batalha é aguerrida, com furor do grande temporal
Busco abrigo seguro, uma paz que Jesus tem pra dar
Ele é o descanso do crente, a esperança que não falhará
Ele está em nosso meio para bênção celeste nos dar!
If God is for Us
God is our refuge in times of great distress
God is our strength when great trials arise
God is the help of the soul, in anguish, in death, in pain
God is in our midst to give us deliverance and favor!
If God is for us, who can be against us?
If God is for us, victory will surely come!
If God is for us, the enemy will not triumph!
If God is for us, He will perform a miracle!
When fears assail me, I will trust only in my God
He is like a firm rock, on which I will not be shaken
If the trial is so great that it seems the ship will sink
He comes gently and smoothly walking on the sea!
When the battle is fierce, with the fury of the great storm
I seek safe shelter, a peace that Jesus has to give
He is the rest of the believer, the hope that will not fail
He is in our midst to give us heavenly blessings!
