From a Buried Heart
I gaze to the darkened
skies this will be my last
night trapped in this mortal
shell and as the body decays
the flesh becomes one with
the earth from which it came.
and as I open my eyes,
illuminated I wake....
at the gates of the abyss m
y blood ran cold hearkening
to the death but before I take
to the ground unburden my soul,
relinquish my heart....
the grave is no bar to my call...
these blossoms beloved
wont last forever I'm afraid my last
breath stands frozen and if I shant
see you again as shares of the evening
drew on beyond our depths.
Desde un Corazón Enterrado
Contemplo los cielos oscurecidos
esta será mi última noche
atrapado en esta cáscara mortal
y mientras el cuerpo se descompone
la carne se une a la tierra
de la que vino.
y al abrir mis ojos,
iluminado despierto...
en las puertas del abismo
mi sangre se enfría escuchando
a la muerte pero antes de caer
al suelo desahogo mi alma,
relinco mi corazón...
la tumba no es obstáculo para mi llamado...
estas flores amadas
no durarán para siempre me temo que mi último
aliento se congela y si no te vuelvo a ver
mientras las sombras de la noche
se alargaban más allá de nuestras profundidades.
