Sem Jesus eu andei sem destino e sem lar
Por perigos passei qual perdido a vagar
Mas um dia parei bem defronte a cruz
Todo fardo deixei quando encontrei Jesus
Do abismo saí quando a luz pude ver
E da morte escapei por seu grande poder
Tudo em mim transformou não sou mais quem eu fui
O pecado deixei, quando encontrei Jesus

Toda minha vida então mudou

Minhas feridas Ele sarou
O passado já passou
Das trevas do abismo eu vim para a luz
Hoje eu canto sou feliz, encontrei Jesus!
Quanta angústia senti caminhando tão só
Até que um dia parei e pedi ao Senhor
Que fizesse mudar todos caminhos meus
Eu chorava demais tão distante de Deus
Só agora eu sei quanto fui infeliz
Mesmo assim, Deus me amou, mesmo assim Deus me quis
Ele guia meu ser e ao céu me conduz
Pelos olhos da Fé já contemplo Jesus

Without Jesus I walked aimlessly and homeless
I went through dangers like a lost wanderer
But one day I stopped right in front of the cross
I left all burdens when I found Jesus
I came out of the abyss when I could see the light
And I escaped death by His great power
He transformed everything in me, I am no longer who I was
I left sin behind when I found Jesus
When I found Jesus
My whole life then changed
When I found Jesus
He healed my wounds
The past is gone
From the darkness of the abyss I came to the light
Today I sing, I am happy, I found Jesus!
How much anguish I felt walking so alone
Until one day I stopped and asked the Lord
To change all my ways
I cried so much, so far from God
Only now I know how unhappy I was
Even so, God loved me, even so, God wanted me
He guides my being and leads me to heaven
Through the eyes of Faith, I already contemplate Jesus
