A Thief In The Night
They sat that character in the truest definition
is who you are when no one sees.
If you were faced by Christ could you explain your actions?
Or would you be driven to your knees?
Do you believe that all you do is under observation?
Do you believe that God can be deceived?
Listen now to what I say.
Conviction caan't be laughed away.
Your deeds brought into light of day will serve to wiegh your soul.
Don't exchange the truth for lies.
Don't give in don't compromise.
Heaven sees through your disguise
and the hour of judgement comes like a thief in the night.
Keep in your mind the agony He suffered to redeem you.
He took the thorns, took the lashes, took the nails because He loves you.
There is a price He demands for those who choose to follow.
You must be true to Him alone, your testamony never hollow.
When all is said and done and the final act is over.
And you stand before the throne.
How will you fare beneath the glass of Holy justice,
when Christ examines all you've done?
When you look upon yourself do you see what He longs for?
Or do you see the enemy?
Un ladrón en la noche
Dicen que el verdadero carácter
es quien eres cuando nadie ve.
Si te enfrentaras a Cristo, ¿podrías explicar tus acciones?
¿O te arrodillarías ante Él?
¿Crees que todo lo que haces está bajo observación?
¿Crees que puedes engañar a Dios?
Escucha lo que digo ahora.
La convicción no se puede burlar.
Tus acciones expuestas a la luz del día servirán para pesar tu alma.
No cambies la verdad por mentiras.
No cedas, no te comprometas.
El cielo ve a través de tu disfraz
y la hora del juicio llega como un ladrón en la noche.
Recuerda el dolor que Él sufrió para redimirte.
Tomó las espinas, recibió los latigazos, soportó los clavos porque te ama.
Hay un precio que Él exige para aquellos que eligen seguirlo.
Debes ser fiel solo a Él, tu testimonio nunca vacío.
Cuando todo esté dicho y hecho y el acto final haya terminado.
Y estés frente al trono.
¿Cómo te irá bajo el escrutinio de la justicia divina,
cuando Cristo examine todo lo que has hecho?
Cuando te mires a ti mismo, ¿ves lo que Él anhela?
¿O ves al enemigo?
