La mañana sigilosa se esconde como atardecer
Las gotas de agua fría me anuncian pronto va a llover
Me aferro a tu promesa que todo estará bien
No te miento me aterro que ya no es como ayer
La sonrisa se me escapa llueven lágrimas también
Un susurro en el silencio me pregunta: ¿dónde está tu fe?
Se dilata el pensamiento que todo esto será para bien
Como agua en el desierto, como vida en la vejez
Dame alas pa’ este cielo con tus fuerzas recorrer
Hoy decido que en invierno mis poemas cantaré
Vuelve, vuelve el día y su tormenta pero yo no temeré
Asechando en los linderos de la duda y del porqué
Y aunque vengan como flechas mi escudo es la fe
Mi espada es tu palabra, mi refugio es tu ser
Eres fuego que no acaba, eres agua que quita la sed
Eres risa en el llanto, misteriosamente eres fiel
Eres Dios de lo imposible, de los reyes eres rey
Cómo habré de cuestionarte si lo sabes tú muy bien
Reconozco que naufrago si de ti yo me olvide
Vuelve a darme de tu aliento como aquella primera vez
Que sanaste mis heridas y limpiaste así mi ser
Vuelve pronto que mi anhelo es llegar ante tus pies
Mientras vuelves vida mía aquí seguro yo estaré
Vuelve que tú eres poesía, que tú eres mi sonrisa, ven
Vuelve que eres aire, que eres vida, eres todo lo que sueño, ven
Vuelve que eres tú mi poesía, ven como aquella caricia, ven
Ven que eres aire que me abriga, ven que tú eres ese fuego

The stealthy morning hides like dusk
The cold water drops announce it will soon rain
I cling to your promise that everything will be fine
I'm not lying, I'm terrified that it's not like yesterday
My smile escapes me, tears also rain
A whisper in the silence asks me: where is your faith?
Thoughts expand that all this will be for good
Like water in the desert, like life in old age
Give me wings to traverse this sky with your strength
Today I decide that in winter I will sing my poems
Come back, the day and its storm return but I will not fear
Lurking on the edges of doubt and why
And even if they come like arrows, my shield is faith
My sword is your word, my refuge is your being
You are fire that never ends, you are water that quenches thirst
You are laughter in tears, mysteriously you are faithful
You are God of the impossible, of kings you are king
How can I question you if you know it very well
I admit I am shipwrecked if I forget you
Come back to give me your breath like that first time
When you healed my wounds and cleansed my being
Come back soon, my longing is to stand before your feet
While you return, my life, I will be here safe
