I heard a story the other day
About a kid I knew who couldn't stay awake
He was sleeping through my favorite movie
I forget what it's called, but I know it was moving
Then someone shook him
And he opens his eyes
But his dreams have already taken over his mind
He's yelling like somebody's causing him pain
But there's nobody there, but the things in his brain
His mom took him down to a hospital
And they hooked up his head to this real awful machine
Now he's laughing like something is funny
He says that it's funny
He thinks he's somebody
Who walks along the universe and tells his God
That nothing could be worse than staying awake at this movie
It's dumb and it's tough and it is really boring
