Nothing here's eternal
as far as I can see
The things that we hold dear
are destined to be memories

The years of blatant disregard
have exacted their toll

the darkness in our souls

and pray this skin will shed
This human race we thought we'd won
but victory was in our heads
So let the filth renew

Another stay of execution
is another chance to go wrong
