E aí me lembro de Moisés
Que viu o mar se abrir
Também viu o povo passar
Contemplou o senhor destruir faraó ali no mar
E mesmo com os livramentos
E mesmo com tantos milagres
Moisés entendeu que a presença devia ser a sua prioridade
E declarou
Se a tua presença não for comigo
Não me faça nem sair do meu lugar
Se a tua presença não for comigo
] Não permita que nada eu venha conquistar

Do que vale o meu pregar e o meu cantar

Já não faz nenhum sentido eu existir

And then I remember Moses
Who saw the sea part
Also saw the people pass
He saw the Lord destroy Pharaoh there in the sea
And even with the deliverances
And even with so many miracles
Moses understood that your presence should be his priority
And declared
If your presence is not with me
Don't let me even leave my place

Don't allow me to conquer anything
