Like the nights once spent slowly submerging in rising tides a boy feels his skin crack as salt stains skin encumbered by fear and desperation comprehension floats mere feet from his grasp as he lays his heavy head to rest bubbles softly break his lips he tries not to let the teeth gape but he smiles as he slowly sinks all that has been is washing away sleepless nights kissless confrontation memories stay at the surface now unencumbered by fear and a grasp on comprehension waves wash worries overhead sinking deeper into a comfort never seen felt heard salt has never tasted so good eyes are shut to this day past and nights to come never held high as it floats to the surface there is something missing under the sun it is worth the effort to find with sunburst pupils

Como las noches una vez pasadas lentamente sumergiéndome en mareas crecientes un chico siente su piel agrietarse mientras la sal mancha la piel cargada de miedo y desesperación la comprensión flota a meros pies de su alcance mientras recuesta su pesada cabeza para descansar burbujas rompen suavemente en sus labios intenta no dejar que los dientes se abran pero sonríe mientras se hunde lentamente todo lo que ha sido se está yendo noches sin dormir confrontaciones sin besos recuerdos se quedan en la superficie ahora sin miedo y con un atisbo de comprensión las olas lavan preocupaciones por encima hundiéndose más en una comodidad nunca vista sentida escuchada la sal nunca ha sabido tan bien los ojos están cerrados hasta este día pasado y noches por venir nunca se mantuvieron en alto mientras flota en la superficie hay algo que falta bajo el sol vale la pena el esfuerzo encontrarlo con pupilas estallando en sol
