O mundo deu perseguições e Deus te deu consolações
O Teu amor embriagou o mundo

Leading many young people to dive deeper

No one ever walked so many lands
Nor brought peace to so many wars
They even tried to silence Your voice
In return, You revealed heaven to us
A beggar of my Lord

That the Virgin Mary herself came to take You
