Road to Peace

Antonio Birabent

Camino a la paz

Camino a La Paz
me quiero quedar ahí
Quedaron viejos hippies colgados, camino a La Paz
me quiero quedar aquí
sintiendo la calma de plaza central
Camino a La Paz, la luz serpentea parece detrás
podemos cruzar, senderos de yerbas y rocas
bordeandonos van
sereno fulgor del lucero en descanso
Camino a La Paz.

Road to Peace

On the road to Peace
The tallest shadows let us pass, we can cross
Paths of grass and rocks
Surrounding us, whole families flood the route
Riding bikes and motorcycles, they are traveling
Road to Peace, the brightness of the morning star seems behind
I want to stay there
The longing on board, from Yacanto to San Javier
Look at it well, take care of it like a child
Treat it like a man
Night falls, horses and cars
Shine in the darkness
Old hippies left hanging, on the road to Peace
Beautiful girls, in town squares, watch us pass
Road to Peace, sown with kisses and hugs
I want to stay here
Feeling the calm of the central square
Road to Peace, the light snakes seem behind
We can cross, paths of grass and rocks
Surrounding us
Serene brightness of the morning star at rest
Road to Peace.
