Tenia 2 o 3 vaquitas, y unas tierritas sembradas

The Dude

In an old truck I saw him when he was starting out
He had 2 or 3 cows, and some planted lands
Just with corn and beans, that's how he navigated

He would leave early to work, return at nightfall
Sometimes on horseback, and other times on foot
He lived very poor in his ranch, with his kids and wife

But destiny sometimes offers alternatives
And suddenly, life gave a big change to the dude
Because now he has bills to throw up in the air

Today they see him in a tahoe, his wife drives a 300
His kids don't walk barefoot, they also have their new cars
The band plays in his ranch, just for any excuse

The government has come investigating him
But the dude calmly responds to the gentlemen
It's all legit, I've earned it with my sweat

That's life, gentlemen, luck is always fair
When a man perseveres, he will always achieve his goals
And the dude is admired and respected for his actions
