The Maimed God
And it was dark...and on the ivory pillar,
Reaching up the sky,
The azure bonds which held the heavenly realms,
At one with the earth,
Now crumble.
They spoke:
I walk the land, inner planes, spheres...
O draw the fates, design the eons...
For man or god, they are my pawns of play...
Choose ye well for we are the prophecies...
...and by the stone, he was maimed:
The once beautiful, they spoke, dwelled
In a palace made of steel,
As he craved for a power,
Far too strong for him to reel,
How can a single gesture,
Disband a brethren of Gods,
But, alas, the whim of one is enough...
...and there was war!
Even the most venerable divinity won't dare to bend the power of the stone.
Maddened, in his rage He took the orb and lifted it against the world(and all alone).
And the world split asunder...a gaping hot wound in the earth...
And what resounded was the agonizing scream...
...of the orb burning deep in his flesh!
DIE...by the sword of the Irongrip!
El Dios Mutilado
Y estaba oscuro... y en el pilar de marfil,
Alcanzando el cielo,
Los lazos azules que sostenían los reinos celestiales,
Uno con la tierra,
Ahora se desmoronan.
Ellos hablaron:
Yo camino la tierra, planos internos, esferas...
O trazo los destinos, diseño los eones...
Para hombre o dios, son mis peones de juego...
Elijan sabiamente porque somos las profecías...
...y junto a la piedra, él fue mutilado:
El que una vez fue hermoso, dijeron, habitaba
En un palacio hecho de acero,
Mientras ansiaba un poder,
Demasiado fuerte para él controlar,
¿Cómo puede un simple gesto,
Desbandar a una hermandad de Dioses,
Pero, ay, el capricho de uno es suficiente...
¡y hubo guerra!
Incluso la divinidad más venerable no se atrevería a doblegar el poder de la piedra.
Enloquecido, en su furia tomó el orbe y lo levantó contra el mundo (y completamente solo).
Y el mundo se partió en dos... una herida caliente y abierta en la tierra...
Y lo que resonó fue el grito agonizante...
...del orbe quemándose profundamente en su carne!
¡MUERE... por la espada del Agarre de Hierro!
