Jesus me ama e me pede outra vez
Jesus me chama pra fazer o que Ele fez
Que eu dê aos outros o amor que Ele já me concedeu
Ser espelho Seu
Fui convocado a cuidar do meu irmão
Menos palavras que eu tenha mais ação
Que eu ame a todos que eu seja Cristo para outro alguém
E assim saberão Ele diz todos reconhecerão
Discípulo Seu eu serei espalhando o seu amor
Comprovo que tenho Jesus habitando em meu ser
Discípulo dEle eu sou quando eu cuido de você
Mais importante que todo dogma que houver
Mais relevante que as regras que eu tiver
O amor a Deus e aos outros sobrepõe a tudo mais a palavra diz
O amor é fruto do Espírito do Pai, é o dom supremo que Ele dá aos filhos Seus
Maior que tudo é o verbo, o amor o próprio Deus
É um exemplo que Ele deu, até os inimigos Seus
Amou demais até o fim, e quer que eu viva isso em mim
Disciple of Love
Jesus loves me and asks me once more
Jesus calls me to do what He did before
To give others the love that He has given me
To be His mirror
I’ve been called to care for my brother
Less talk, more action, that’s the way to go
To love everyone, to be Christ for someone else
And so they will know, He says, all will recognize
I will be His disciple, spreading His love wide
I prove that I have Jesus living in my soul
I’m His disciple when I take care of you
More important than any dogma out there
More relevant than the rules I might bear
The love for God and others outweighs everything, the word says
Love is the fruit of the Spirit from the Father, the greatest gift He gives to His children
Greater than all is the word, love, God Himself
It’s the example He set, even for His enemies
He loved so much until the end, and wants me to live this in me
