No one knows where they fit in, where they belong
A world in chaos, so many lives lost

To make a change, to get it right
Too many egos, getting in the way
So many reasons to stand and fight
How many lives does it take
For the world to take a stand?
The wheels keeps turning
And the world keeps burning
The time for change is at hand

Turn on the TV, pick up the paper
A generation torn apart before our eyes
Such desperation, and no salvation
No one left to help or even hear their cries
History repeats itself
So why do we never learn
So do we just keep falling down
To the point of no return
How many lives does it take
For the world to take a stand?

The time for change is at hand

A diplomatic tragedy we can't deny
A simple question, no one can answer
When all we seem to care about is who, not why
So many hearts filled, with so much sorrow
With minds too strong to just break down and cry
So little hope left for any others
Just another reason to stand and fight
