I was very insecure as a kid but I found
a place inside myself where nobody could bully me,
a haven from that small-town mentality.
A state of mind where my emotions all were, and still are,
something I didn't need to be ashamed of.
I still go to that place every day and shut the world out,
just shut it all out.
It's what keeps me going on when I feel I'm not so strong at all.
It's what keeps me holding on
when I'm weak enough to fall.
Music lights a spark in me,
finds the place where I can express myself and be heard.

Apaga al mundo
Era muy inseguro de niño, pero encontré
un lugar dentro de mí donde nadie podía intimidarme,
un refugio de esa mentalidad de pueblo pequeño.
Un estado mental donde mis emociones estaban, y aún están,
