By myself I sit alone
I'm wondering about a poem
I can't express the way I feel in words
I start to write when I'm all alone
I can't say that I know what I'm talking about
I can't say that I can keep below a shout
I can't say that I want what I'm writing about

As my body turns to stone
I start to peel my brain right to the bone
I'm trying to bring justice to my thoughts
I'm trying just to let my mind reign

Sentado solo me encuentro
Pensando en un poema
No puedo expresar cómo me siento en palabras
Comienzo a escribir cuando estoy completamente solo
No puedo decir que sé de qué estoy hablando
No puedo decir que puedo mantenerme en silencio
No puedo decir que quiero lo que estoy escribiendo
No puedo decir que sé de qué estoy hablando
Mientras mi cuerpo se convierte en piedra
Comienzo a desmenuzar mi cerebro hasta el hueso
Intento darle justicia a mis pensamientos
Intento simplemente dejar que mi mente reine

Ahora no puedo sentir absolutamente nada
Entonces me pregunto, ¿por qué debería cantar?
