Colors Hidden Within The Gray
Rain fell grey on the bleakest day
I wake just for today
Try to remember the hues
We can’t see the colors between
I am see through; I have no secrets
I run fast, to reach the sky
To touch the bright yellow Sun as it’s swallowed by the grey
Bleak clouds over shimmers
The day disappears into beautiful grey
Cover your eyes, the bright, glowing white
Unfading shade, hiding the hues
A cold summer day, swallowed by the gray
I believe more than nothing
Shadows cast as stars gleam below
Swimming in the air
We are real
Black and white in my veins
I believe more than nothing
Bleak clouds over shimmers my final breath
Tones of blue and red bring color back into the grey
