The Cleansing
Water covers water, shimmering
Streams like fingers flowing
Washing away stone and earth
Shapeless, formless, voiceless
Starting anew
The current below washing over me
Rinsing away the stains from my body
To once again renew it's splendor
The day is gone
We leave our light behind in vain
The stains remain
We wait again for another cleansing
Youthful sounds growing faint
They vanish
Silent, forgotten
I spread my arms wide to take hold of the world
The warmth and strength I feel for a moment
Taking me under
Drowning me
Making me invisible again
Thus begins my cleansing
The day is gone
We leave our light behind in vain
As the stains remain
We wait again for another cleansing
An unstained paradise awaits
Dream of me one last time
I’ll take your tears, clean and pure
And wait again for another cleansing
La Purificación
El agua cubre el agua, brillante
Arroyos como dedos fluyendo
Lavando piedra y tierra
Sin forma, informe, sin voz
Comenzando de nuevo
La corriente debajo de mí
Lavando las manchas de mi cuerpo
Para una vez más renovar su esplendor
El día se ha ido

Las manchas permanecen
Esperamos de nuevo por otra purificación
Los sonidos juveniles se desvanecen
Desaparecen
Silenciosos, olvidados
Extiendo mis brazos para abarcar el mundo
La calidez y fuerza que siento por un momento
Llevándome bajo el agua
Ahogándome
Haciéndome invisible de nuevo
Así comienza mi purificación
El día se ha ido
Dejamos nuestra luz atrás en vano
Mientras las manchas permanecen
Esperamos de nuevo por otra purificación
Un paraíso sin manchas espera
Sueña conmigo una última vez
Tomaré tus lágrimas, limpias y puras
