Out From The Shadow
Shadow- surrounds me, covering the world like a Shroud,
Seeds- from the abyss, trying to plant within my soul.
Clouding- my mind, Drawing me further into darkness,
No hope- I have, light seeming not to exist,
Lost in darkness, a glimmer of light catches my eye.
True light can it be? My heart leaps, wanting to believe.
The pure light of our Creator, who came and died to set us free.
Darkness assaults me, the will of it's master.
Doubt fills my mind, it's so hard to believe.
But a spark of hope ignites, I ask others in the shadow about the light.
They laugh me to scorn. Depression, my heart turns to stone.
Help me! Help me!
Help me find the way, I am blind.
Lead me to the path that leads to the light.
Every way I go leads to the abyss.
Those around me say the light doesn't exist.
Then I hear the call, I start to turn.
Darkness tries to stop me but I throw off it's chains,
There before me is the light, the one they call the Christ.
Love is in his eyes, tears fill mine.
I am the path that leads life, follow me to my kingdom of light.
The path is hard, it's easy to stray. Jesus Christ is the only way.
Fuera de la Sombra
Sombra- me rodea, cubriendo el mundo como un sudario,
Semillas- desde el abismo, intentando plantarse en mi alma.
Nublando- mi mente, atrayéndome más hacia la oscuridad,
Sin esperanza- tengo, la luz parece no existir,
Perdido en la oscuridad, un destello de luz captura mi vista.
¿Será luz verdadera? Mi corazón salta, deseando creer.
La pura luz de nuestro Creador, quien vino y murió para liberarnos.
La oscuridad me asalta, la voluntad de su amo.
La duda llena mi mente, es tan difícil de creer.
Pero una chispa de esperanza se enciende, pregunto a otros en la sombra sobre la luz.
Se ríen de mí. Depresión, mi corazón se vuelve de piedra.
¡Ayúdenme! ¡Ayúdenme!
Ayúdenme a encontrar el camino, estoy ciego.
Llévenme al sendero que lleva a la luz.
Cada camino que tomo conduce al abismo.
Los que me rodean dicen que la luz no existe.
Entonces escucho el llamado, comienzo a girar.
La oscuridad intenta detenerme pero me deshago de sus cadenas,
Allí frente a mí está la luz, aquel al que llaman el Cristo.
El amor está en sus ojos, las lágrimas llenan los míos.
Soy el camino que lleva a la vida, síganme a mi reino de luz.
El camino es difícil, es fácil desviarse. Jesucristo es el único camino.
