Arbol Palmera
Llegan camellos masticando brea
Me traen nubes de vapor
Lento como, es un buitre
Mi quebrantahuesos
Palm Tree
In a fine state of beauty
I see in the fields, I see the lord
I see them all in a comedy
They look like cowboys without action
The days change, my thoughts change
What was a meadow is now a lion
Or it's a cat with dreads and some leprosy and it's not my imagination
Slowly as the shadow moves in the tropics, I fall today
Slowly as the air hesitates in your ears, it's my drowsiness
It's my drop of sweat, it's the vision of heat, it's a vulture
The tree measures time in its bark, I look around in a daze
I'm in the middle of a palm tree, among green leaves I think I am
From some point in New Guinea, a parliament reaches my corner
Camels arrive chewing tar, bringing me clouds of steam
Slowly as ... it's a vulture, my bone breaker.
