No conozco a mis vecinos me hace falta mi balcon
The Building
Many years ago on 83rd street
In a building built with feet
With good foundations and a double view of the sea
Where it felt like something strange was going to happen
And those upstairs celebrated night and day
And those downstairs complained about the mess
And those in the middle, and those in the middle
waiting for their moment
No one ever knew who took care of the building
but everyone lived together in a paradise
There's no hot water, and the light goes out at 6
and with just one elevator, it's better to take the stairs
and those upstairs bought generators
and those downstairs read with colorful candles
and those in the middle, and those in the middle
were on vacation
Mr. superintendent
nothing is new, nothing came suddenly
if you don't do something now
every day there will be more things to fix
A man from the 20th floor decided to come down
and on the 7th floor they invited him to have
coffee with milk with his hands tied
without a contribution, we won't let him go
and those upstairs got scared and ran away
and those downstairs got scared and stayed
and those in the middle and those in the middle distributing apartments
Mr. superintendent
nothing is new, nothing came suddenly
if you don't do something now
every day there will be more things to fix
Superintendent, a genie doesn't fly away suddenly
if you don't do something more
they won't give you your Nobel Peace Prize
I give you my testimony, it's been a year since I left
I found a new building, I found a place to live
I don't know my neighbors, I miss my balcony
how I miss my kitchen, how I miss my ball
but here there is hot water and the candles are for decoration
Mr. superintendent, I'm not even scared or hiding anymore
