Quando tudo era escuridão
E nada existia
O Senhor já estava ali
Quando olho para o céu
E vejo o amanhecer
E no fim de mais um dia
Vem o entardecer
Quando ouço um pássaro cantar
Quando olho para as flores
Ou para a imensidão do mar
Toda natureza se declara Ti
O Senhor disse haja luz
