Quando o sol brilhava quente, penetrando no infinito
Ao passar os ismaelitas, de uma cova se ouve um grito.
Era josé quem gritava, seus irmãos fizeram isso.
Potifar comprou o menino,ao chegar lá no egito.
"mas o tempo foi passando e o menino se formou
Conseguindo confiança, passa a ser governador.
Ajuntando mantimentos em celeiros colocou.
Sete anos vacas gordas e mais sete de pavor.
Veio depois de alguns anos nos países imprevistos
Que tiveram que comprar alimentos no egito
E jacó mandou seus filhos ir comprar, com muita fé
Não sabia que o governo era o seu filho, josé.
"e josé vendo os moços logo os reconheceu
E depois de duras provas disse: sabem quem sou eu?
Eu sou aquele menino que vocês mesmos venderam.
Eles caíram por terra, logo que reconheceram.
José disse pra eles: de saudades eu chorei,
Mas não temam meus irmãos, porque eu os perdoei.
Tudo o que vocês fizeram para mim foi um favor
Hoje aqui no egito, eu sou o governador.
Governor of Egypt
When the sun shone hot, penetrating into the infinite

And Joseph, seeing the young men, recognized them immediately
And after harsh tests, he said: Do you know who I am?
I am the boy you sold yourselves.
They fell to the ground as soon as they recognized him.
Joseph said to them: I cried with longing,
But fear not, my brothers, for I have forgiven you.
Everything you did to me was a favor.
Today here in Egypt, I am the governor.
