I'm not where I'm goin' but I'm far from home
With each step furthur feelin' so alone
It's my vision your plan, doing all that I can
Each steppin' stone 'till I know I can stand
One foot in front of the next, I keep walkin' these miles 'til this high way connects
It's called grassroots take it from the bottom and rise
close enough to see resolve and the white in their eyes
I've been subjected to lies, had a million tries
Many points to emphasize layin' some to the sides
Still theres places I've gone, mental states that I've been
One can draw me close the other simply is sin
We begin and we end with many stones in between
But this journey isn't lost and this pathway is my dream
Has the narrow way enlightened, the heavy load removed?
No matter the circumstance my condition has not improved
Pursuit of the tried and true, it insued, I keep the pace
In darkness light will shine, in trial I seek your face
It's way beyond the natural, past the status quo
Ask myself to move but truly I just don't know
All that's very clear is that you have brought me here
And until you bring me out I'm about more than would appear
Do your will I'm open to go but not just to react in vain
I know when I follow Your Word my questions always answered in plain

Piedras
No estoy donde voy pero estoy lejos de casa
Con cada paso más lejos sintiéndome tan solo
Es mi visión tu plan, haciendo todo lo que puedo
Cada piedra en el camino hasta que sé que puedo mantenerme en pie
Un pie delante del otro, sigo caminando estas millas hasta que esta autopista se conecte
Se llama raíces, tómalo desde abajo y asciende
lo suficientemente cerca para ver la resolución y lo blanco en sus ojos
He sido sometido a mentiras, he tenido un millón de intentos
Muchos puntos para enfatizar dejando algunos a un lado
Todavía hay lugares a los que he ido, estados mentales en los que he estado
Uno puede acercarme, el otro simplemente es pecado
Comenzamos y terminamos con muchas piedras en medio
Pero este viaje no está perdido y este camino es mi sueño
¿Se ha iluminado el camino estrecho, se ha quitado la carga pesada?
No importa la circunstancia, mi condición no ha mejorado
Búsqueda de lo probado y verdadero, se ha iniciado, mantengo el ritmo
En la oscuridad la luz brillará, en la prueba busco tu rostro
Va más allá de lo natural, más allá del status quo
Me pregunto a mí mismo que me mueva pero realmente no sé
Todo lo que está muy claro es que me has traído hasta aquí

Sé que cuando sigo tu Palabra, mis preguntas siempre son respondidas claramente
