Sometimes i start talking to myself
In the midst of an honest day's work
I put my chin on my arm and say
Why are you such a fool
What would pecos do how would he get out of this
Tie up everybody and ask questions later
Drink up all the water
What was lake now is crater
The brothers will always say

He'll fool someone to bury themselves in a mountain
The brothers cry all night

And the criminals fool themselves in a fight
Because they are going to lose
They don't understand what's about to happen
That someone's at the point of death
What would pecos do how would he get out of this
And sometimes i think to myself

And see my woman up there she's running out of air
