Have you ever thought about your soul? Can it be saved?
Or perhaps you think that when you are dead, you just stay in your grave
Is God just a thought within your head or is He a part of you?
Is Christ just a name that you read in the book when you were in school?
When you think about death, do you lose your breath or do you keep your cool?
Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope? Do you think he's a fool?
Well, I have seen the truth, yes, I've seen the light and I've changed my ways
And I'll be prepared when you're lonely and scared at the end of our days
Could it be you're afraid of what your friends might say if they knew you believe in God above?
They should realise before they criticise that God is the only way to love
Is your mind so small that you have to fall in with the pack wherever they run?
Will you still sneer when death is near and say that you may as well worship the Sun?
I think it is true it was people like you that crucified Christ
I think it is sad the opinion you had was the only one voiced
Will you be so sure when your day is near? Say you don't believe?
You had the chance, but you turned it down, now you can't retrieve
Perhaps you'll think before you say God is dead and gone
Open your eyes, just realise that He is the one

Hast du jemals an deine Seele gedacht? Kann sie gerettet werden?
Oder denkst du vielleicht, wenn du tot bist, bleibst du einfach in deinem Grab?
Ist Gott nur ein Gedanke in deinem Kopf oder ist Er ein Teil von dir?
Ist Christus nur ein Name, den du in dem Buch gelesen hast, als du in der Schule warst?
Wenn du an den Tod denkst, verlierst du dann den Atem oder bleibst du cool?
Möchtest du den Papst am Ende eines Seils sehen? Denkst du, er ist ein Narr?
Nun, ich habe die Wahrheit gesehen, ja, ich habe das Licht gesehen und ich habe meine Wege geändert
Und ich werde bereit sein, wenn du einsam und ängstlich am Ende unserer Tage bist.
Könnte es sein, dass du Angst hast vor dem, was deine Freunde sagen könnten, wenn sie wüssten, dass du an Gott oben glaubst?
Sie sollten erkennen, bevor sie kritisieren, dass Gott der einzige Weg zur Liebe ist.
Ist dein Verstand so klein, dass du mit der Herde mitlaufen musst, wo immer sie hinrennen?
Wirst du immer noch spotten, wenn der Tod naht, und sagen, dass du genauso gut die Sonne anbeten könntest?
Ich denke, es ist wahr, dass es Menschen wie dich waren, die Christus gekreuzigt haben.
Ich finde es traurig, dass die Meinung, die du hattest, die einzige war, die geäußert wurde.
Wirst du dir so sicher sein, wenn dein Tag naht? Sagst du, du glaubst nicht?
Du hattest die Chance, aber du hast sie abgelehnt, jetzt kannst du sie nicht zurückholen.
Vielleicht denkst du nach, bevor du sagst, Gott ist tot und weg.
Öffne deine Augen, erkenne einfach, dass Er der Eine ist.
Der Einzige, der dich jetzt von all dieser Sünde und dem Hass retten kann.
Oder wirst du über alles spotten, was du hörst? Ja, ich denke, es ist zu spät.
