Bagheera
Bagheera walked into the bar and poured himself a drink
His fur was stained with the blood of monkeys and he needed time to think
The man at the bar said, "What are you doing here?"
Bagheera let go a low soft purr that kept the man from coming near
He said "I'm Bagheera, the mighty panther and the jungle is my home
I'm free, free in all I see and that makes me free to roam"
Sometimes to feel the music of the jungle it can cause you pain
And the man heard Bagheera as the entire jungle joined in the big black cat's refrain
One dark night the man-cub came to the big black cat afraid
The boy cried, "Teacher, teacher I don't, understand this ache within me"
The great cat sighed and (then softly he began)
He said, "Indeed thou art a man's child now and the world is yours to give and take
The time has come now for your awareness to change forever and there's a choice for you to make
You may remain here in the jungle and hunt with the free people
Or if you feel the man's God calling you return to your kind in the village and worship at his steeple
The only thing you must do is what you feel in your heart is true
I will hunt now and leave you on your own to decide what to do"
The mighty panther went on his hunt
Secret Lord of the jungle beneath the night sky
And some say if you could have seen him then you'd have noticed a single tear fall from his majestic eye
Bagheera
Bagheera est entré dans le bar et s'est servi un verre
Son pelage était taché du sang des singes et il avait besoin de réfléchir
L'homme au bar a dit : "Que fais-tu ici ?"
Bagheera a laissé échapper un doux ronron qui a empêché l'homme de s'approcher
Il a dit : "Je suis Bagheera, le puissant panthère et la jungle est ma maison
Je suis libre, libre de tout ce que je vois et ça me permet de vagabonder"
Parfois, sentir la musique de la jungle peut te faire mal
Et l'homme a entendu Bagheera alors que toute la jungle se joignait au refrain du grand chat noir
Une nuit sombre, le petit homme est venu vers le grand chat noir, effrayé
Le garçon a crié : "Maître, maître, je ne comprends pas cette douleur en moi"
Le grand chat a soupiré et (puis doucement il a commencé)
Il a dit : "En effet, tu es maintenant l'enfant d'un homme et le monde est à toi de donner et de prendre
Le moment est venu pour ta conscience de changer à jamais et il y a un choix à faire
Tu peux rester ici dans la jungle et chasser avec les gens libres
Ou si tu sens l'appel du Dieu des hommes, retourne vers les tiens dans le village et adore à son clocher
La seule chose que tu dois faire est ce que tu ressens dans ton cœur comme vrai
Je vais chasser maintenant et te laisser seul décider quoi faire"
Le puissant panthère est parti à la chasse
Seigneur secret de la jungle sous le ciel nocturne
Et certains disent que si tu l'avais vu alors, tu aurais remarqué une seule larme tomber de son œil majestueux
