What ever happened to the gold in the water
Swam into our nets and kept our spirits strong and free
What will become of our sons and our daughters
Trusted in us to know that there would always be

The reason for giving our lives up to the sea

I walk down to my boat and watch the sea

De una vida que fue más dulce de lo que nunca podría ser
