He woke up from within the sea
he had a date with destiny
his heart was strong
his head was weak
filled with hope from memories
i relate so much to him
his heart and soul and suffering
by my accounts twas the day
september third she ran away
called the coach and filled her bags
with useless words and dirty rags
she ran up to the beach and said

he'd break from between the waves
and to the depths they will sing

his smiling face and warm embrace
