The Carnival of Mirth, where people flock to see
Scenes intriguing to the mind and filled with mystery
Games and rides for everyone, and children filled with glee
And circus clowns with grinning faces,
The shows are where they'll be
Popcorn, peanuts, gumdrops, elephants, lions, tigers and more
A monkey riding a unicycle, can you hear the crowd roar
All are welcome at the Carnival of Mirth,
Felons, creeps, a licentious whore
Excitement and laughter, mirror mazes and funhouses
But not a sight of gore
They gather round to see, both big and small
Piquing curiosity, the shows intrigue them all
Up on the stage just out of sight, something begins to crawl
The crowd moves closer, straining to see
Through the darkness set in by nightfall
