My Day Off
It's 12 o'clock
Hit snooze one more time on the alarm clock
I'll get up soon
But not right now cause it is only noon
I swear I'll get the chance to, clean my room today
There's something in there scaring girls away
I swear I'll get the chance to, go to the grocery store
The only food left is one can of cream corn
Get out of bed
Head for the shower but turn the TV on instead
And I should go
But it's Boot Camp Week on the Mory Povich Show
I swear I'll get the chance to, go out and mow the lawn
Haven't seen the pink flamingos in so long
I swear I'll get the chance to, change the oil in the truck
It's months overdue now but it's
My Day Off
And I'm not motivated
To do much of anything at all
This is my day
To finally get away
From them all (the mall)
I never got the chance to clean my room
To change the oil or go get food
And the grass it never got cut

My next day off I swear I
Won't just waste away
Like I did today

Juro que tendré la oportunidad de salir a cortar el césped
No he visto los flamencos rosados en tanto tiempo
Juro que tendré la oportunidad de cambiar el aceite del camión
Ya está meses atrasado pero es

Y no tengo motivación
Para hacer mucho de nada en absoluto
Este es mi día
Para finalmente escapar
De todos ellos (el centro comercial)
Nunca tuve la oportunidad de limpiar mi habitación
De cambiar el aceite o ir por comida
Y el pasto nunca se cortó
