Standing Up For Justice
I was standing up for my rights when I got a ticket in my car
stating I was doing something that I had not do
My heart was beating fast when he said you're not guilty that you'll have a chance to state your case up in a court of law

Court day comes and here I go to state the facts I'm not alone
A room full of people are in here to they wait with me to fight their cause
the judge calls names one by one
each person claims their innocence
but the judge he sides up with the law and each person goes home unresolved.

Defendiendo la justicia
Estaba defendiendo mis derechos cuando recibí una multa en mi auto
afirmando que estaba haciendo algo que no había hecho
Mi corazón latía rápido cuando dijo que no eras culpable y que tendrías la oportunidad de exponer tu caso en un tribunal de justicia

Llega el día del tribunal y aquí voy a exponer los hechos, no estoy solo
Una sala llena de personas están aquí, esperan conmigo para luchar por su causa
El juez llama a los nombres uno por uno
cada persona reclama su inocencia
pero el juez se pone del lado de la ley y cada persona se va a casa sin resolver
