La Hermandad de La Costa
Hace tiempo que nos fuimos buscando un paraíso
Nuestro barco había partido sin saber rumbo preciso
Tras pasar dos tempestades desviamos el camino
Y cuando avistamos tierra supimos que era el destino
Habitantes esperando a la orilla de la isla
Parecían los verdugos de una historia asesina
Pero cuando aparecimos nos dieron la bienvenida
Sin preguntas nos brindaron la mejor de sus bebidasla hermandad de la costa
Lealtad entre mujeres
Que brindaban todas juntas
Por crear sus nuevas leyes
Paraíso de corsarios
Que respeta al diferente
La ley dicta ojo por ojo
Nosotras diente por diente
Allí pudimos comprobar que los barcos son de todos
Que todos los alimentos se comparten con los otros
La voz popular chillaba contra cualquier injusticia
En la isla de la tortuga los libres corrían deprisa
Mientras pasaban los años nos hacíamos más viejas
Y en el consejo de ancianas adiéstrabamos guerreras
Nuestra isla nunca muere las tortugas son longevas
Y sigue pasando el tiempo entre brindis y leyendas
The Brotherhood of the Coast
Long ago we set out in search of a paradise
Our ship had set sail without a precise course
After enduring two storms, we veered off course
And when we spotted land, we knew it was our destination
Inhabitants waiting on the shore of the island
They seemed like the executioners of a murderous tale
But when we appeared, they welcomed us
Without questions, they offered us their best drinks
The brotherhood of the coast
Loyalty among women
Toasting all together
To create their new laws
Paradise of corsairs
Respecting the different
The law dictates an eye for an eye
We, tooth for a tooth
There we could see that the ships belong to everyone
That all food is shared with others
The people's voice screamed against any injustice
On Turtle Island, the free ran swiftly
As the years passed, we grew older
And in the council of elders, we trained warriors
Our island never dies, the turtles are long-lived
And time continues to pass amidst toasts and legends
