El Carretonero
en un carreton viejito
donde venia fortino
traia un cajon de madera
con el cuerpo de su niño
venia dispuesto a matar
quien detengo su camino
en una casa muy rica
de la hacienda la rosita
fortino toco la puerta
le respondieron ahorita
para aparecer despues
una mujer muy bonita
la mujer se sorprendio
al ver al carretonero
aqui no damos limosna
no queremos pordioceros
vale mas que se retire
y no vuelva limosnero
que pronto se te olvido
que fui tu esposo primero
nos dejaste por otro hombre
que tiene mucho dinero
aqui muerto traigo a tu hijo
le dijo el carretonero
saco una pistola escuadra
de su morral que traia
antes de morir a mi hijo
le jure te encontraria
solamente que no supo
que despues te mataria
le disparo seis balazos
al cuerpo de la señora
tu amante tiene dinero
para que te entierre ahora
ya mijo trai su cajon
solo faltas tu traidora
a mi que me echen pal monte
hablo con mucha tristesa
al abrazarse de su hijo
se aferraba con firmeza
despues levanto su brazo
se disparo en la cabeza
The Cart Driver
in an old cart
where fortino was coming
he had a wooden box
with the body of his child
he was ready to kill
whoever stopped his path
in a very rich house
of the rosita estate
fortino knocked on the door
they answered 'right away'
only to later appear
a very beautiful woman
the woman was surprised
to see the cart driver
we don't give alms here
we don't want beggars
it's better for you to leave
and not come back begging
have you forgotten so soon
that I was your first husband
you left us for another man
who has a lot of money
here I bring your dead son
said the cart driver
he took out a pistol
from his bag that he carried
before my son died
I swore I would find you
only he didn't know
that later he would kill you
he shot six bullets
at the woman's body
your lover has money
so he can bury you now
son, bring his coffin
only you are missing, traitor
as for me, they can throw me to the mountain
he spoke with great sadness
as he hugged his son
he held on firmly
then he raised his arm
and shot himself in the head
