Where Will My Horse Be

Los Cadetes de Linares

Donde Estará Mi Caballo

Yo le llamaba el regalo
Era rocio y cuatroalbo
Y su sangre charaqui
Papa me lo habia regalado
Un dia de mi cumple años
Ahi que dia tan feliz

Donde estará mi caballo
Por el que tanto e llorado
Como lo fui yo a perder
Papa me lo habia regalado
Era un regalo sagrado
Y lo tube que vender

El dia que murio mi padre
Yo no sabia que hacer
Tenia que sepultarlo
Y me faltaba con que
Y al pasar un caminante
Yo le vendi mi corcel

Al irse se resistia
Relinchaba y me veia
Yo llorando lo entrege
Cuidalo bien caminante
Fue un regalo de mi padre
Que yo nunca olvidare

Donde estara mi caballo
Mi padre con dios se fue
El me lo habia regalado
Y yo solo me quede
Por eso vivo llorando
Solo en el mundo y sin fe

Where Will My Horse Be

I called him the gift
He was dew and four white
And his blood was Charaqui
Dad had given it to me
One day on my birthday
Oh, what a happy day

Where will my horse be
For which I have cried so much
How could I lose it
Dad had given it to me
It was a sacred gift
And I had to sell it

The day my father died
I didn't know what to do
I had to bury him
And I didn't have what I needed
And as a passerby came by
I sold him my steed

As he left, he resisted
He neighed and looked at me
Crying, I handed him over
Take care of him, passerby
It was a gift from my father
That I will never forget

Where will my horse be
My father went with God
He had given it to me
And I was left alone
That's why I live crying
Alone in the world and without faith
