El Media Noche
Media noche fue un caballo,
Negro como mis pesares,
Hermano del siete leguas,
De las arcas eran sus padres
Fue nacido para villa,
Y villa para el caballo,
Fueron la mezcla explosiva,
Que no detenía ni el diablo
Villa lo escogió entre muchos,
Caballos de pura sangre
Media noche estaba entero
Era el garañón más grande
Los dos se identificaron,
Desde la primer mirada,
Villa se moría de gusto,
Y el caballo relinchaba
Desde entonces los pelones,
Hasta las armas dejaban,
Al mirar al potro negro,
Y a villa que lo montaba
Luego vino la leyenda,
Del gran villa y el caballo,
Decían que villa era el diablo,
Y que montaba otro diablo
No te sientes potro negro,
Ni le saques al peligro,
Hemos salido de infiernos,
De los grandes enemigos
Contimas de neblinazos
Que no son más que rocíos,
Éntrale a torreón bailando
Que a bailar hemos venido
The Midnight
Midnight was a horse,
Black as my sorrows,
Brother of the seven leagues,
His parents were from the coffers
He was born for the town,
And the town for the horse,
They were the explosive mix,
That not even the devil could stop
The town chose him among many,
Purebred horses,
The Midnight was whole,
He was the biggest stallion
The two identified each other,
From the first glance,
The town was thrilled,
And the horse neighed
Since then the bald ones,
Even the weapons they left behind,
When they saw the black colt,
And the town riding him
Then came the legend,
Of the great town and the horse,
They said the town was the devil,
And he rode another devil
Don't feel like a black colt,
Don't shy away from danger,
We have come out of hells,
Of great enemies
We continue through mists
That are nothing but dew,
Get into the tower dancing
For we have come to dance
