Lutamos contra toda a força bruta
Que insiste em querer discriminar
Queremos direito
Igualdade e respeito
Em cada beco e viela
Povo pobre acolhido pela mãe favela
Bondade e valor, jamais nos faltou
Graças aos heróis dessa pátria não tão gentil
Mas sempre brotou
Do lixão uma flor
Renegados pela força da ambição
Invisíveis frente à constituição
Contra todo opressor
Nossa fé é munição
Resistimos com amor
Pela nossa nação
Em cada livro se escreve a esperança
Pro futuro da criança
Deus olhai por nós os excluídos
Pois estamos perdidos como bala no ar
Chega dessa tal intolerância
Temos importância não se pode segregar
Da terra colher dividir o plantio a nobreza do irmão do Henfil
