Eu vejo no mundo de hoje tanto sofrimento
A guerra, a fome invadindo em todo lugar
Pessoas dormindo na rua, às vezes faltando comida
Já não sabe mais o que fazer, o que fazer na sua vida
Um dia vai chegar ao fim, um dia irá terminar
E este mundo de engano eu irei deixar
Aquele que obedeceu, e ao lado de Jesus ficar
Em uma cidade bonita para toda vida irá morar
Está faltando paciência para suportar
Está faltando braço forte para agüentar
Pessoas que prometem tudo, acabam não fazendo nada
Deixando um povo tão carente, parados no meio da estrada

I see so much suffering in the world today
War, hunger invading everywhere
People sleeping on the streets, sometimes lacking food
No longer knowing what to do, what to do in their lives
One day it will come to an end, one day it will finish
And this world of deceit I will leave
Those who obeyed, and stayed by Jesus' side
Will dwell in a beautiful city for all eternity
Lacking patience to endure
Lacking a strong arm to bear
People who promise everything, end up doing nothing
Leaving a people so needy, stranded in the middle of the road
