Posso ver uma forte batalha
O cenário é a velha e Rude Cruz
E nessa cruz há um Homem inocente
Disposto a morrer pra salvar
De um lado marcham forças das trevas
Satanás e os anjos do mal
Mas do outro os anjos da glória
O confronto é no Gólgota
Toda Terra estremece aflita
E o Sol se recusa a brilhar
Pois Jesus lá na cruz pendurado
Ao céu sua voz ecoou
Consumado a batalha é finda
Consumado a guerra acabou
Consumado é o fim do conflito
Consumado e Cristo é Senhor
Em meu coração a batalha continua
Prisioneiro sou nas garras do mal
Mas Jesus falou: Meu filho querido
A batalha já foi ganha cruz
Pude então compreender que meu Cristo
Enfrentou as batalhas por mim
E a vitória, vitória é minha sou um vencedor
Então sou livre em enfim
Consumado a batalha é finda
Consumado a guerra acabou
Consumado é o fim do conflito

But Jesus said: My beloved child
The battle has already been won at the cross
