A Jesus Cristo contarei tudo
Que haja em meu peito a me perturbar;
Os meus cuidados, meus sofrimentos,
Só Ele os pode suavizar.
A Jesus Cristo, meu Bem-Amado,
Narrarei sempre minha aflição;
Aos meus cuidados, aos meus tormentos,
Só Ele pode dar solução.
A Jesus Cristo contarei tudo;
Ele é Amigo firme e leal.
Basta pedir-lhe, que, sem demora,
Aos meus pesares dá fim cabal.
Sempre tentado, sei que preciso
De um protetor que possa valer;
Só meu Amado, que é invencível,
Pode, portanto, me proteger.
Deste caminho os maus me desejam,
Pois, desviar e me demover;
Mas Jesus Cristo, forte e zeloso,
Sempre me ajuda a permanecer.
Tell Jesus
To Jesus Christ I will tell everything
That troubles my heart;
My worries, my sufferings,
Only He can soothe them.
To Jesus Christ, my Beloved,
I will always narrate my affliction;
To my worries, to my torments,
Only He can provide a solution.
To Jesus Christ I will tell everything;
He is a firm and loyal Friend.
Just ask Him, and without delay,
He brings a complete end to my sorrows.
Always tempted, I know I need
A protector who can help;
Only my Beloved, who is invincible,
Can therefore protect me.
The wicked wish me harm on this path,
To divert and discourage me;
But Jesus Christ, strong and zealous,
Always helps me to stay firm.
