Ó São Jorge meu Santo guerreiro
Invencível na fé em Deus
Que trazeis em vosso rosto a esperança e confiança
Abre os meus caminhos
Eu andarei vestido e armado com vossas armas
Para que meus inimigos tendo pés não me alcancem
Tendo mãos não me peguem
Tendo olhos não me enxerguem
E nem em pensamento possam ter
Para me fazer mal
Armas de fogo o meu corpo não alcançarão
Facas e lanças se quebrarão sem ao meu corpo chegar
Cordas e correntes se arrebentarão sem o meu corpo amarrar
Glorioso São Jorge em nome de Deus
Estendei vosso escudo e vossas poderosas armas
Defendendo-me com vossa força e grandeza
Ajudai-me a superar todo o desânimo
E a alcançar a graça que vos peço
Dai-me coragem e esperança, fortalecei minha fé
E auxiliai-me nesta necessidade

Invincible in faith in God
Who brings in your face hope and trust
Open my paths
I will walk dressed and armed with your weapons
So that my enemies having feet do not reach me
Having hands do not catch me
Having eyes do not see me
And not even in thought can they have
To harm me
Firearms will not reach my body
Knives and spears will break without reaching my body
Ropes and chains will break without tying my body
Glorious Saint George in the name of God
Extend your shield and your powerful weapons
Defend me with your strength and greatness
Help me to overcome all discouragement
And to achieve the grace I ask of you
Give me courage and hope, strengthen my faith
And assist me in this need
