Não sou aquilo que eu desejo ser!
Com tuas mãos entre as minhas, teus pés nos meus passos
Com Teu sorriso, Teu olhar, e Teus gestos sagrados
Eu irei até o fim: Onde estarás compassivo, esperando por mim
Na caminhada da vida, seguindo Teus passos
Não temerei os espinhos e as pedras da estrada
Eu em Ti e Tu em mim: Tudo será, finalmente, eclosão de amor
Quero Jesus, Te servir na pessoa do outro
Ser os Teus pés, Tuas mãos, Teu Perdão, Teu consolo
Nada te recusarei, e de Ti eu ouvirei: Vem, bendito do Pai

On the journey of life, I found myself with you

I know that you deeply marked my being!

I am not what I desire to be!
With your hands in mine, your feet in my steps
With Your smile, Your gaze, and Your sacred gestures
I will go to the end: Where you will be compassionate, waiting for me
On the journey of life, following Your steps
I will not fear the thorns and stones of the road
Me in You and You in me: Everything will be, finally, a burst of love
I want Jesus, to serve You in the person of the other
To be Your feet, Your hands, Your Forgiveness, Your comfort
I will refuse nothing, and from You I will hear: Come, blessed of the Father
