Hoje é sexta-feira em Jerusalém, a caminho do calvário vejo Alguém
Uma cruz pesada está a carregar, Condenado a morrer em meu lugar
Os soldados vão pregá-Lo sobre a cruz
E ao levantá-la vão dilacerar o Corpo de Jesus
Serão as dores mais terríveis que Alguém pode suportar

Estavam condenando à morte o Príncipe da Paz
