Vira a cabeça pra grota e sai esmagando macega
Cruza o rastro cruza o rastro e empurra o tento no templo
Do campo a fora peço a bênção pra esta armada pra Deus, e nossa senhora
Nossa senhora, nossa santa aparecida
Field and Faith
It's tough when a fool gets stuck
Stomps around and hides his face, digging a hole
Feels like the ground shifts, goes up to the hat
And we get the feeling we're walking, stepping on the sky
I'm off with the mouth of the wild, riding and can't find the saddle
A tiger escaped from the cage and took off, hitching a ride
All that's left is a wild rein, the sharp tooth of the spur
A patch of clean field and faith in our lady
It's tough when a bull turns against you
Looks back to the ravine and starts crushing the weeds
The sky rumbles over the great river, the ground shakes in a rush
And the homeland boils in blood when the hair stands on end
Is it? Is it, that a twelve-foot bull, breaks free without fear
And you can tell the breed of a creature in the gear
Cross the trail, cross the trail and push the goal in the temple
Out in the field, I ask for blessings for this crew, for God, and our lady
Our lady, our holy one appeared
Protect the gaucho land in these ups and downs of life
I carry you in the brim of this hat
For nothing is more powerful than the faith of a cowboy
