To My Hose

Chabelos

A Mi Manguera

Hoy quiero agradecer a mi manguera

Tal vez goteé, o salpiqué, o te duché, o me bañé
Ahora se bien que fui feliz
Que la apreté y no la atoré
Puedo seguir, ¿gracias a quién?, a mi manguera

Y agradecer a mi manguera

To My Hose

The end is near
I'll roll it up discreetly
Do you see it? So long, yes
I showed it to you modestly
I watered wherever I went
Without expecting anyone to see it
I wet it, shook it, my hose

It never got stuck on me
It never stopped working for me
I watered some flowers, and some giant forests
Enjoyed getting wet and soaked you more than anyone
Today I want to thank my hose

Maybe I dripped, or splashed, or showered you, or bathed
Now I know I was happy
That I squeezed it and didn't clog it
I can continue, thanks to whom? To my hose

Because you will know that I was a man, that a gardener is happy
Now I know well that the worm, along with the compost and the root
Can live, thanks to whom? To my hose

Maybe I dripped (it dripped on me)
Or splashed (I got wet)
Or showered you (turn it off now)
Or bathed (without splashing)
Now I know well (you'll know)
That I was happy (like a worm)
That I squeezed it (squeeze here)
And didn't clog it (I got wet)
I must continue (just keep going)
And thank my hose
