weeds and trees that grow from seed
will cover us in time
swallowing all of the buildings
and every single piece of trash

Puedo escuchar los lamentos de los muertos
quizás sea tu vecino
golpeando a su perro en el sótano.
Puedo escuchar los lamentos de los muertos,
ahogados por la tierra
pero lo suficientemente fuertes para distinguirlos.
telarañas de concreto en la carretera
desaparecen con el tiempo
malezas y árboles que crecen desde la semilla
nos cubrirán con el tiempo
tragándose todos los edificios
y cada pedazo de basura.
