Three elder female deities define our mortal lives
From the third night after birth till the point when the thread is cut
Clotho is spinning ceaselessly the threads of human life
Lachesis draws the lots for every one of us
Atropos cuts with no scruple the threads that hold us alive
The offspring of the Nyx, they call them Moirai
Destiny is written on the wind, no one knows how life will be
They decided for our fates long ago,
No vicissitude can be made even from gods

The offspring of the Nyx, they call them Moirai
Chaos made Nyx, the goddess of the night
And one of the first creatures ever to emerge from the void.
Sister of Erebus, Gaia and Tartarus.
Nyx had children by the god Erebus.
To Erebus the goddess bore Aether and Hemera,
But she also bore by herself a number of offspring.
Those were Eris, Hypnos, Nemesis, Thanatos,
The Hesperides and the Moirai...

Decidieron nuestro destino hace mucho tiempo,
Ni siquiera los dioses pueden cambiarlo

El Caos creó a Nyx, la diosa de la noche
Y una de las primeras criaturas en surgir del vacío.
Hermana de Erebus, Gaia y Tartarus.
Nyx tuvo hijos con el dios Erebus.
A Erebus la diosa le dio a luz a Aether y Hemera,
Pero también tuvo por sí misma varios descendientes.
Ellos fueron Eris, Hypnos, Nemesis, Thanatos,
Las Hespérides y las Moirai...
