Há trinta e oito anos esperando a beira do tanque de Betesda
Sem ter um amigo ou recurso para aliviar o seu sofrer
Sua única esperança estava naquele tanque
Um anjo
Passava por ali e agitava as águas do tanque
E quem entrasse naquele momento sairia curado
Mas ninguém se importava em ajudar aquele aleijado
Mas Jesus chegou ali e perguntou então pra aquele homem
Queres ser curado?
Ele então respondeu
Não tem ninguém pra me ajudar descer as águas
Outro desce em meu lugar
Jesus então ordenou
Levanta-te, toma o teu leito e ande agora
O milagre aconteceu com as palavras do mestre
Ele andou na mesma hora
Quando Ele quer agir não importa quanto tempo tem a sua dor
Quando Ele quer agir não precisa de tanque pra fazer milagre
Quando Ele quer agir basta uma palavra
Apenas um olhar que Ele faz acontecer, acontecer
Quando Ele quer agir faz do barro remédio pro cego enxergar
Quando Ele quer agir manda menina morta do leito levantar
Quando Ele quer agir pode até deixar o Lázaro morrer

Faz tempo

A tank
For thirty-eight years I have been waiting by the pool of Bethesda
Without a friend or resource to alleviate their suffering
His only hope lay in that tank
An angel
He would pass by and stir the waters of the tank
And whoever entered at that moment would leave healed
But nobody cared to help that cripple
But Jesus arrived there and then asked that man
Do you want to be healed?
He then replied
There's no one to help me get down the water
Someone else gets off in my place
Jesus then commanded
Get up, take up your bed and walk now
The miracle happened through the master's words
