Com carinho, desenhei este planeta;
Com cuidado, aqui plantei o meu jardim.
Com alegria, eu sonhei um paraíso,
Para a vida dom de amor que não tem fim.
Ponho, então, à tua frente
Dois caminhos diferentes:
Vida e morte, e escolherás.
Sê sensato: escolhe a vida!
Parte o pão, cura as feridas!
Sê fraterno e viverás.

Fiz o homem e a mulher à minha imagem;
Por amor e para o amor eu os criei.
Com meu povo celebrei uma Aliança.
O caminho da justiça eu ensinei.

Com tristeza vejo a vida desprezada,
Nos meus filhos e em toda a natureza.
Me entristece tantas vidas abortadas,
Dói em mim a violência e a pobreza.

Pelas margens desta vida há tanta gente
Que implora por justiça e dignidade.
Respeitar, cuidar da vida é o que te peço;
Vai! Transforma a tua fé em caridade!

With affection, I designed this planet;
With care, I planted my garden here.
With joy, I dreamed of a paradise,
For life, a gift of love that never ends.
I place before you then
Two different paths:
Life and death, and you shall choose.
Be wise: choose life!
Share bread, heal wounds!
Be fraternal and you shall live.

I made man and woman in my image;
For love and to love I created them.
With my people, I celebrated a Covenant.
The path of justice I taught.
3.
With sadness I see life despised,
In my children and in all nature.
It saddens me so many lives aborted,
Painful to me is violence and poverty.
4.
On the margins of this life there are so many people
Begging for justice and dignity.
Respecting, caring for life is what I ask of you;
Go! Transform your faith into charity!
